How do I start?

Taekwondo Training, Taekwondo Fellowship, Taekwondo Spirit!

How do I get started?

1. Find a USNTA Licensed School Near You

The first thing to do is to find a close center location. Just enter your zip code in the box to the right and you can find the nearest center. There are more than 120 Dahn Centers. Find the location which is closest to your home or work place.

2. Call the school and make an appointment for an Individual Introductory Session

Did you find the closest center? Then please choose a convenient time, call & make an appointment for your Individual Introductory Session.

3. Individual Introductory Session

The Individual Introductory Session, led by a USNTA Certified Instructor, is recommended because by knowing your current condition clearly, you can understand what you need and how you can improve through this practice. What you need and what you think you need may be different. This includes a check-up of:

- Flexibility & balance

- Meridian System / ki-energy circulation

- Breathing pattern

- Digestive Condition/Intestine function

- Mind/body communication

And you will

- Experience Healing Energy

- Receive Prescriptive Exercises & Consultation

- Begin Martial Arts Self Defense Training

4. Choose a proper training course according to the result of the introductory session

Generally, taking the regular class 2-3 times a week is recommended. A USNTA Certified Instructor will assist you to find out what training course is the best fit for you according to your condition. The class fees and membership varies according to the program you choose, so please pick up a brochure and consult the Instructor when you visit.

5. Enjoy the changes and improvement within you.

Taekwondo is for everyone of every age every day! Once you begin this program please take enough time and enjoy each session. Something fun will happen to you!
